Key Concepts
Deed events, territories, and outreach explained in five minutes.
DeedPulse is built around four concepts. Understanding them in order makes the rest of the product obvious.
Deed events
A deed event is a single recording at a county register of deeds — a transfer of ownership, a new construction closing, a refinance, or a foreclosure. DeedPulse ingests these directly from the county, classifies them, and enriches them with owner and property context.
Not every deed event is a move. DeedPulse tags each event so you can filter on what actually matters to your business.
See Event types.
Territories
A territory is the geographic area DeedPulse watches for you. Territories can be as broad as a county or as precise as a handful of ZIPs. You can have multiple territories on a single account — for example, one per branch office.
See Creating a territory.
Campaigns
A campaign is a trigger + channel + template. When a deed event matches the campaign's trigger (e.g. "new transfer, single-family, $350K+, in Territory A"), DeedPulse runs your outreach through the configured channel — a call script, SMS, or postcard — personalized to the property and homeowner.
See Outreach campaigns.
Pipeline
The pipeline is your book of active opportunities. Every matched deed event flows into the pipeline, moves through stages as your team works it (Contacted → Appointment Set → Quoted → Won/Lost), and syncs to your CRM when you're ready.
Putting it together
Deed event (county data) ↓ matches Territory (your coverage area) ↓ triggers Campaign (your outreach) ↓ creates Pipeline opportunity (your book)
Every DeedPulse feature is either helping you detect more of the right events, reach those homeowners faster, or close more of the opportunities in flight.
